Denn nach Einschätzung der Ärzte haben sich die Muskeln in der Schwerelosigkeit und dem beengten Raum der ISS stark zurückgebildet, obwohl die Astronauten täglich rund zwei Stunden ihren Körper trainieren. Bereits einen Tag nach der Rückkehr soll für Williams und Wilmore eine mindestens sechswöchige Reha starten. Auch werden Screenings durchgeführt, um zu sehen, wie sich die gefährliche Weltraumstrahlung auf die Körper der beiden Raumfahrer ausgewirkt hat.
